Our esteem Company popularly known as SARNA INFOCOM PRIVATE LIMITED has been established on 05.01.2017 duly incorporated / registered with Registrar of Company affairs, Govt. Of India, having its Registered office at 632,Nursary Bagan, Jessore Road, Kolkata 700074 with a noble mission to provide the Banking services through Business Correspondence Model to all eligible customers at rural , semi-urban, urban & metro areas, out of Bank premises under Financial Inclusion scheme ,Government of India, with active encouragement & patronage of 2nd. Largest Public Sector Bank as well as India’s International Bank i.e Bank of Baroda. The noble idea on floating of the above company is an combine efforts of present three directors from various discipline like Banker, Insurance, Health care Personal, Business expert, Information technology adept.

BACK GROUND

All Public Sector Banks (PSB) were Nationalised in 19th.July 1969 keeping in view door step delivery of Banking services either by way of Deposit or Credit amongst all other important points like stop social unrest, reduce regional imbalances etc. also to provide the credit facilities to the heather to neglected sectors like Agriculturist, Rickshaw puller, Vegetable vendors, Fish vendors, cobbler, earthen pot maker, black smith etc. in other words called PRIORITY SECTOR in Banking terms.

As per National Sample Survey Report 2009, there is huge gap to reach to the unreached by the Bankers. Likely 42% of the house hold did not have any linked with bank by way of deposit or Credit, depend on local money lenders/MFI. Now the house hold wise gap has substantially been reduced on introduction of PMJDY Scheme. But eligible people wise there is huge gap likely 34% eligible has their Bank linkage so far.

PRESENT POSITION

Within a very short period likely two years our team members could reach to the 401000 unreached household to educate them on Financial literacy either by opening Basic Savings Bank Account under PMJDY or assist to provide loan facilities from Bank with soft terms coupled with Micro Insurance like PMSBY and PMJJBY, Pension scheme like APY. Our Company is instrumental to our corresponding Bank i.e Bank of Baroda for mobilising huge low cost deposits as need of their hour and expansion of their loan to small borrowers like farmers, PMMY, MSME sectors etc. Our team members (Business Correspondents) are also helping in fetching recovery in standard as well as NPA / Written off accounts at the Instance of Bank Management. Bank of Baroda Management has recognised our efforts, speed, performance, relationship etc. as one of their major contributors under Financial Inclusion and our Business Correspondences & Field level machinery is recharged from time to time to carry out more and more responsibilities with Non Financial or Financial incentive.

To become a trusted brand of Corporate Business Correspondent for providing banking needs to the people of unbanked area of our Country.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE:

  1. To act as bridge between Bank/FI/MFI/NBFC (as applicable) and Common people.
  2. To educate the people on Financial Literacy like Banking, Investment and Insurance.
  3. To open their Zero balance account at their door steps and financial transaction within sponsored bank’s frame works.
  4. Use of banking channel as their livelihood.
  5. Use of bank’s loan for their economic upliftment and standard of living therewith.
  6. To promote prompt recovery culture to their Bank’s dues, no chance of defaulter.
  7. Make liaison with Bankers. Government Line Dept., RBI. NABARD, NGOs ETC.
  8. Educate them on Heath, Hygiene, Sanitation etc.
  9. Organise various camps with Subject matter Specialist on Health, Agril, food processing, MSME etc. for quality production & employment generation accordingly.
  10. Make the people Tech-Savy for dealing & designing their easy life and keep pace with recent development of Digital India.
  11. As far as possible on IT literacy for dealing Hard ware or Soft Ware problems at remote areas.
